Upper School Therapy: Congratulations to Aleksander, our Upper School Therapy Citizen of the Term, for your dedication to developing your communication skills and using your communication device with increasing confidence. Securing your own funded device is a fantastic achievement. Well done!
Wellbeing:
Lower School Wellbeing: Congratulations to Jack C, our Lower School Wellbeing Citizen of the Term, for your incredible bravery and resilience in returning to school and re-engaging with learning. We are so proud of everything you have achieved this term.

Sherwood Foundation School 
As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, we are incredibly proud of everything our pupils in Lower School have achieved. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow in confidence, independence and develop new skills, and to celebrate their many successes throughout the year.
Ocean Class has had another fantastic week, enjoying a range of activities including parallel play, numeracy games and sensory play. To celebrate the end of the school year, the class enjoyed a special trip to McDonald's. Every pupil has made phenomenal progress this year, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. Well done, Ocean Class!
Congratulations to everyone in Thistle Class on a fantastic year. Every pupil has made excellent progress, both in their learning and in developing their self-regulation. We were delighted to celebrate Ethan as our Citizen of the Term in recognition of his improved communication, growing independence and outstanding progress. It was a difficult decision, as every pupil has achieved so much this year. 
Orchid Class have enjoyed welcoming a work experience student, Rhoshvini, this week. Among many activities, students also took part in a water play session, which proved to be a popular activity. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to cool off and have fun together. Hebe Class enjoyed taking part in Attention Bucket sessions and counting songs, particularly 'Five Currant Buns', where each pupil had the opportunity to buy a currant bun as part of the activity. They also explored the importance of handwashing and why we wash our hands. During Free Flow, pupils investigated a range of sensory trays, with the bug-themed tray proving to be a particular favourite. Daffodil Class had a fantastic trip to the farm this week. Many pupils took part in a tractor ride for the first time ever, as well as experiencing a range of animals up close. We also took the opportunity on Thursday to celebrate the achievements of our peers during the Citizenship Assembly as well as rounding off the school year with a class party. Bluebell Class also enjoyed a visit Godstone Farm this week. They thoroughly enjoyed travelling on the minibus, meeting the animals, and playing in the large soft play area. A highlight of the visit was the animal handling session, where pupils had the opportunity to hold and stroke a tortoise, an iguana, and a friendly chicken. It was a memorable experience and a wonderful way to end the school year.
Sunflower Class have been celebrating everything that makes each pupil unique while reflecting on a fantastic year together and their many achievements. Pupils have especially enjoyed their play and leisure sessions, spending quality time with one another.
Peony Class has had a wonderful final week of term, reflecting on the fantastic memories we have made together over the past year. We enjoyed looking back at our favourite moments and celebrating the fun, laughter and achievements we have shared as a class. As we say goodbye to some pupils moving on to college and wish others every success in their new classes, we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. What an amazing year it has been!
