News from Leadership Team

This week at the Hill we had a fantastic time celebrating lots of different cultures from across the world on our World Culture Day! We looked at continents across the globe and covered all of these different countries:

Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, Egypt, South Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, Peru, China, Brazil, Argentina and Columbia.

All the classes explored the countries and there were fantastic pieces of art made, lots of lovely music playing all around the school and pupils using all their senses to smell, taste, touch and explore new experiences!

News from the Leadership Team

This week, Jess had the pleasure of attending the Annual Jack Petchey Presentation Ceremony. The event celebrated all of our 2025 Achievement Award winners, as well as our Leader Award winner, Kerine.

One of our pupils, Leo, attended the ceremony to go on stage and receive his medallion, along with Kerine, who also received her award. Leo won his award for demonstrating outstanding determination and commitment, and Kerine received the Leader Award for her dedication to supporting pupils’ education and wellbeing.

It was a brilliant evening, full of celebration and pride. Also a huge congratulations to our other 2025 Achievement Award winners, Ellie and Calum, who were unable to attend the presentation evening but will be celebrated in style at school.

In other news, the Park campus enjoyed a space-themed day on Thursday, where pupils explored a range of exciting science experiments and activities, including magic milk, homemade lava lamps, rocket launchers, and water balloon force experiments. I saw so much engagement and awe from the pupils – it was a really successful day.
