Extra Curricular Opportunities

Sherwood Foundation School is not just about the curriculum and life skills.

We also provide lots of opportunities for the students to experience more outside the classroom and develop further life skills and confidence.

Park Campus students get the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Residentials

We also provide students with the opportunity to undertake residentials with the school.

  • To help enable pupils to be independent and to provide them with opportunities that may otherwise not be available, we currently run two different types of residentials.

  • As Part of the Duke of Edinburgh award, pupils aged 14+ will complete a one night or two night expedition away from home, developing lots of independent living skills.

  • We also offer Post 16 pupils the opportunity to join a 4 day residential to Woodlarks Campsite in Farnham, Surrey. 

  • These opportunities provide our pupils with wonderful experiences that they remember for the rest of their lives.
