As a school, we are mindful of the sensory needs and stressors of our pupils and school uniform is not mandatory at any point in their school journey.
We ask that pupils wear clothes that are appropriate for school, including closed toed shoes and clothing that meet their temperature and sensory requirements.
Children in Post 16 are not expected to wear school uniform, however we adopt a flexible approach as we are mindful that many of our pupils do continue to enjoy wearing school uniform throughout their time in school.
Swimming kit
Boys: swimming shorts and towel.
Girls: sturdy close fitting swimming costume and towel
All pupils should bring toiletries
Where to purchase it
Most uniform items are available to purchase via our supplier, Speedstitch by searching under Sherwood Foundation School.
Our uniform is currently under review due to our name change to Sherwood Foundation School to enable all children to wear the uniform and create greater opportunity for second hand uniform swaps. We will be moving away from campus specific uniforms.
Our FOSPS support the school by running second hand uniform stalls at school events.
